Contracting history of a provider

The lookup gathers the contracts recorded in SECOP II, Colombia's official public procurement system run by Colombia Compra Eficiente, and sorts them newest first for a single document. In one view you see which entities have hired a person or a company, for how much, and the current status of each contract. Useful for counterparty research, provider due diligence and risk analysis before a disbursement or an award.

Common questions

01Where does this information come from?
From SECOP II, Colombia's official public procurement system run by Colombia Compra Eficiente. It is open transparency data, and Croma queries that source in real time to return it structured.
02Can I search with an individual's cédula?
Yes. Many state contractors are individuals, so a cédula works just like a NIT. That said, the lookup only returns public procurement records, which are public by law: it shows no personal, financial or judicial data about the holder.
03Is it free? Are there any limits?
Yes, it is free and no account is needed. It is meant for one-off lookups: there is a per-minute request limit to prevent abuse, and each search returns up to 500 contracts, newest first. If the provider has more, we flag that the result is incomplete.
04What if the provider does not show up?
Check that the number is typed correctly. It may also be that the contractor has no contracts recorded in SECOP II, or that they contracted under a different document, for example the company NIT rather than the legal representative's cédula. Try both numbers.
